CRANE AI and Cyber Security SIG

The CRANE AI and Cyber Security SIG (AI-Cyber SIG) brings together UK academics, industry partners, and early-career researchers to address the growing intersection between Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security. The SIG is organising a hybrid workshop on 21 September 2026 (10:00 - 16:00; see the agenda below), hosted by the Cyber Security Research Centre at the University of West London. The workshop will feature a series of short presentations on AI and cyber security research and practice (maximum 10 minutes per presentation including Q&A), providing an opportunity for participants to share recent developments, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration across academia and industry.

If you have a topic relevant to the AI-Cyber SIG that you would like to present (in-person or online), please create a presentation using the template image-20260727153723-1.png here (max 7-8 slides, 7 mins presentation and 3 mins Q&A) and submit your presentation via CRANE CYBER-AI SIG 2nd Workshop - Upload your slides. The deadline for submission is 7 September 2026 (Monday). These presentations are a good way to let other SIG members know what you are doing.

If you have any questions regarding the presentation or experience any difficulties uploading your slides, please contact Wei Jie at [email protected] and Alireza Esfahani at [email protected].
